WORSHIP & PRAYER
When we come together as a church in worship or prayer it's uplifting. We can raise our voices in song or be still in the quietness of a prayer retreat. However we come before God we rejoice that we in his presence.
WORSHIP
We have a worship service at 10.45am every Sunday morning in the Performing Arts Block of Birchwood Community High School. Parking is available in front of the building and there is disabled access up to and inside the building. There are creche facilities and a full teaching programme for children and young people. On the last Sunday of the month we also have a BSL signed service.
PRAYER
Prayer is fundamental to the life of the church and to our individual personal relationships with God. We include prayer in our Sunday services and Life Groups. We have a dedicated prayer room in the Encounter Centre and hold a prayer meeting over Zoom on Friday mornings. There is a reflective 'Prayers For... ' every month. We also send out weekly prayer emails, have an active WhatsApp prayer group and through the year we sometimes have special events such as prayer retreats.
